Is anybody that has the JB DV-40 Supernova vacuum judge have whatever bug with their unit, every bit of lately mine does not seem to be reading, or warming up and the begin reading microns, it doesn't do it every time but I'm starting to accept this issue with it sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't, I have but had this one for perhaps two years and I have taken good care of it and it still looks most new, anybody else having or had problems with theirs.

Take yous cleaned the unit. Check or change battery.

Batteries are good, I put some alcohol downwardly in the sensor and shook it around and then dumped it out and allow information technology dry out, the user transmission says make clean sensor with booze just does not say how to become nigh it

I think mine said the same thing for cleaning. Possibly exercise it a couple of times then try again. Just a thought.

A guy at work had a similar problem. The string was cracked in to to the lowest degree a dozen spots (e'er stored in case and not overly abused ((normal usage))) it would non turn on and when he called tech support they told him $100 to await at it and information technology had to be sent in by the vendor. yes i called tech support and the guy says yeah even though its 2 years sometime just send information technology in and we wilsend you out another i, but i needed to take it to vendor and let them handle it, vendor calls the same guy at tech support and he says transport it in and for 100 bucks we will ship out a refurbed i. JB Industries says JB stands for But Better , sounds to me similar it sounds for But Bull****

I won't be buying annihilation else that is made by JB, my vacuum gauge nonetheless looks new and even though its past the warranty period they should replace mine gratis, and not charge me 100 bucks for a refurbed one, guess I'll stay with my robinaire vacumgauge that I've had for 20 pulse years until I find 1 that's worthy of ownership
- They have dainty vacuum pumps, merely I agree, I wouldn't buy their micron gauge.

Had a tech that bankrupt the string on his supernova. I called for a part number on the cord and was told that the string is calibrated to the gauge. I would need to buy a cord and send it in to be calibrated. I didn't fifty-fifty become to the question of how much
